My work has evolved over the years in different forms and is continually developing.

Whatever the work in hand it gives way to new ideas, working with brush strokes and marks being made or even colour moving forward in new directions and more often making the subject matter irrelevant.

Work can start through a visual experience, perhaps through reading material, the spoken word or even a thought.

Many times a title precedes the work thus becoming a starting point.

I am continually searching for new boundaries and new ideas, many of these coming by just putting paint on canvas which I love doing and see what develops.
